Xaler is the word relax spelled backwards, and that’s because our main character, Xaler, is the opposite of relaxed. In this story Xaler not only goes on an adventure, but he learns and practices useful tools along the way.
The key to mastering anxiety is not a simple tool, but it is being able to use that tool over and over until it becomes natural to the child. Only when a child has created such mastery over his relaxation will he/she be able to fully use the tool when they are feeling afraid.
Xaler and the Dragon is a story that both teaches and help a child practice new tools for dealing with fears and anxiety.
